CAT (Common admission Test) is competitive examination conducted by IIMs for entrance into the management courses of prestigious Indian Institutes of Management. The score is also used by other B-schools in India as eligibility criteria for further admission process.

Through CAT, candidate’s conceptualized knowledge, analytical skills and decision making capabilities are judged.

CAT examination mostly consists of quantitative ability, data interpretation and English multiple type questions. CAT is not at all an easy entrance test due to very high competition and also because there is no set or defined syllabus for the exam. In order to crack CAT, you need to be smarter rather than hard worker.

Organized study is the key to success. The candidate needs to be updated with various general awareness topics to prepare for GD and interview as well.
