MBA aspirants in general have got a perceived notion that if they jump and take a lead on the premise of the initiative they can be considered as a leader. Caution over here, to all of you to shun this notion and the reality is that it can’t necessarily be a leadership quality in Group Discussion.

Taking initiative means that you are trying to initiate a new point or additional point or analytical point and this can be done on your turn of speaking in GD which may come to you may be as a last person in the group.

For a perfect initiative in GD you need to have knowledge of current affairs and on variety of subjects as that would give you a natural response in GD. This ideal situation can be achieved while practicing with variety of Group discussion topics and you can be winner.
