The other day when my school class mate met me in a shopping mall, I was shocked to listen his side of story. He is also MBA pass out.
Francis Ramesh (name changed) was average in studies but was complete sportsman in school days even. He remained like that and graduated with average marks but gained fame as he was Hockey captain of the state.
Being sportsman he continued to believe in growth so he appeared in MBA entrance exam but could score below average marks. To his surprise agents from industry approached him and got him admitted in an Institute which only cared for fee.
Naturally tenure at Institute finished in few months as regulatory authorities put a ban of closing Institute and to dismay of students they got diplomas awarded as distance learning education from some university.
Students lacked employability and with remote chance of gaining ground most of them were recruited in shopping malls as customer relationship executives.
It is must for MBA aspirants to be vigilant and join only good B schools.
